I found the book interesting from several view points. The cultural difference is immense, the traditions and customs around things like twins, relationships and superstitions is quite profound. Excellent work by the late great Chinua Achebe. I remember watching the miniseries in my youth in Nigeria. The book is a masterpiece of African literature with its ability to extract a variety of emotions from the reader. This is definitely one of my favorite books of all time.

Good and Straight-Forward

This is a good book for an introductory level course/self-study program. It breaks down the terminology by body system (one body system per chapter), so you know what parts of the body to relate the terms to as you progress through the book. This book is nicely organized, easy to follow, and easy to understand. It is extremely helpful if you are entering the medical field. It has flashcards in the back of the book that help you test yourself, but they are not indispensable. You could make them yourself. It is by far one of the best introductory texts available.

This book is excellent for anyone not familiar with medical terminology class. The book includes a CD and flashcard in the back. I feel knowledgeable after reading the Chapter 1. It is worth the money.

Eye Opening.

Marissa Storm captivated me and made me think. How so many people have missed the signs of abuse for so long. It happens every day in our lives. Those little signs that no one seems to see. And never see until the child takes drastic measures. This book has opened my eyes and made me aware. I didn't drink or do drugs when the neighbor down the road tried to get me to do something with him. I was so scared I went home and told my mom right away. I she went right to him and told him you will never ever touch my child or have anything to do with her. I thank my mom for listening to me and believing in me enough to stand up for me. If by reading this book saves one girl the shame of believing its her fault. I applaud Marissa Storm her wonderful writing of this book. Thank you Marissa. Please read this book. I recommend it highly.

A fluff piece

covers items already addressed in other books. does not cover them as thoroughly though. Not really about non standard sngs. Just a rehash of material that is covered better elsewhere. 40% of the book is dedicated to hand quizzes. Truly a fluff piece and not worth buying.

Very interesting original!

Well, after reading Secrets of Sit n Go's I decided to take a look on the sequel of it, Secrets of non standard Sit n Go's.

It's a very good book too, but it is special because it deals with topics not easily found elsewhere. Make sure you know what this book is about, if you are interested in it, this one is unique in its kind. Sit n Go's for other poker forms are not played widely, but for those who want to try, this one is a must!

Again (like Secrets of Sit n Go's) highly recommended to the ones interested in its not-so-mainstream topics.
